If anybody knows a cache of his Quake work, I'd be more than interested in checking it out. I've searched some, but I can't find anymore of Mueller's Quake III stuff - just his comic book and some other conceptual stuff. But after numerous failed attempts, the team at id decided to stick with Quake II and forego the gothic Lovecraftian theme from the original in favor of a more sci. If he's the guy that created the concept what Tankjr would look like, for instance, I'd love to see what that looks like. 'Originally, Quake II was supposed to be an entirely new game and IP titles like Strogg, Lock and Load, and even just Load were toyed with in the early days of development. So, I'm looking for more of his Quake III work. It captures the raw DOOM II gameplay feeling, and also just sets up this awesome feeling of, "Hey, this is deathmatch - I'm so ready to rock." I came across this awesome Quake III DOOM guy concept piece by Mueller, and I just freaking love it. The Doomguy, also known as the Doom Marine or Doom Slayer since the 2016 reboot, is the main character of the Sci-fi, Horror, First-Person-Shooter Doom series. Of course, the in-game version was considerably less-cool, but Mueller's art is still great. The Doom 3 engine still was part of notable games such as Prey, Quake 4, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Wolfenstein, and Brink, but that popularity paled in comparison to the big-name titles made.
